On-line Tanach Class
Preface


This is not merely a collection of essays and e-mails. Rather, it is a collection of thoughts which have been developed in the course of our weekly Chumash classes. Specifically, our give-and-take and our creative discussions have generated, fleshed out and coalesced in the work on our site.

Some of these essays touch on minor points, and are building blocks for larger and broader thoughts in later essays. Through bracketed comments, we have tried to demonstrate some of the ways in which our ideas interlock. This is the nature of Torah; no thought is "small."

These essays represent the Torah of Ohave Shalom, and on behalf of the Chumash Class I invite you to come join us.
